PL-100 is Microsoft's Power Platform App Maker credential. It is genuinely the citizen-developer cert — built for business analysts, functional consultants, IT pros and frontline employees who solve their own business problems with low-code tools rather than waiting for engineering.

PL-100 is 40–60 questions over 90 minutes. The exam is heavy on scenario items — 'Which control / formula / flow action achieves X?' — with case-study items at the end. Most candidates pass on first attempt.
